David Sullivan values West Ham United at £600m

Subhankar Mondal

West Ham United are an established club in the Premier League.

According to The Daily Mail, West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan wants £600 million for the club.

It has been reported that West Ham are among a number of clubs in the Premier League who are open to a sale.

The report has claimed that since billionaire Albert Smith purchased 10% of the club last year, talks have been held with a number of potential investors in the USA.

It has also been reported that Sulllivan is in no rush to sell West Ham, who are an established club in the Premier League.

Successful season

West Ham are doing well at the moment, and there is a chance that Manuel Pellegrini’s side could challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League table.

The Hammers are eighth in the league table at the moment with 12 points from eight matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Leicester City.

The London club will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

I’d happily see Red Bull takeover. I’ll take the branding if we can match Leipzig.

Club is dead already so what’s a few more changes?

When you see the lack of integrity, lack of respect towards the clubs history and utter contempt for it's fan base under the current regime why anyone would be worried about having foreign ownership is beyond me.

Four years will whizz by. We already had the SPIVS twice that length. No way will Jr be left to run the ship. They will be bought out long before that happens.

Depressing that it’s actually 2023 rather than 2021 (as I previously thought) where they can sell and keep all the profits.

If it was to be someone like the Qataris I reckon the football club would be a small part of a deal where they bought Westfield and the whole Olympic site including the stadium.
Personally I reckon we will rumble on as also rans under the dead hand of these bunch of know-nothing morons.
And we will be coining Chairman Jack Sullivan as he sits there in his smoking jacket and slippers at some point.

It's clear that the spivs want to sell, and they might want to sell at £600 mill but they'd never get it.
The club is a very attractive proposition for any billionaire who wants the glamour of the Prem, but I think the absolute maximum they'd get is £350 mill, which would still give them both a massive profit on their investments.
The only trouble with selling at that price is that there can't be many British investors who would spend that amount. Which means unfortunately, like so many other clubs, we'll be foreign owned in a few years time.

It’s a load of old bollocks. Although, if it were true and after yesterday’s performance, the price would have dropped to around £14.50p.

Re: David Sullivan values West Ham United at £600m
they all price their clubs at these stupid levels but no one is buying are they?

Manchester United (a quoted company) is valued at 50 times earnings.

£600 million values us at 35 times earnings.

You can get Newcastle for half the price, why would you bother?

Re: David Sullivan values West Ham United at £600m
So what assets apart from the players does the club have. Training ground, stock in the shop, probably someone on here could value the squad etc as £600 million seems a bit high.

Re: David Sullivan values West Ham United at £600m
Its 2021 isnt it that they can sell and keep all of the profits out of the hands of the legacy company isnt it?
I suspect they want to sell and it will be then before anything happens.
It seems to have taken Mike Ashley about 5 years not to be able to sell Newcastle so you need LOTS of time for negotiations.

I suspected Brady would have pissed off once the move was done and she was Lady-ied up by Cameron but think the only reason she is still around is to handle this sale. And collect her millions from it.
